How Rich is Donald Trump? The Answer - Very Rich

Donald Trump giving a speech in 2011According to reports, Donald J. Trump will likely be announcing his entry into the race for the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination on Tuesday. The announcement will reportedly take place at Trump Tower in New York on Tuesday morning and will come one day after Jeb Bush, considered one of the front-runners for the Republican nomination, announced his entry into the race.

According to the same reports, Trump will be revealing a summary of his net worth on Tuesday as well. Candidates for President are required, by law, to file personal financial disclosures within 30 days of formally announcing their intentions to run.

There has been a great deal of debate over Donald Trump's net worth over the years. Trump will reportedly be putting all of that debate to rest on Tuesday when he reveals a net worth that is reported to clock in at around $9 billion. The net worth report will detail Trump's numerous real estate holdings, hotels and other properties, as well as his stakes in other ventures. In addition, the report will also detail his debts and the total amount of cash that he has on hand (this is rumored to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars).

Donald Trump has made noises about running for President in the past but has never formally run. 2016 looks to be a different story, however, as Trump is reportedly poised to announce his candidacy on Tuesday morning.

To some, Trump is the fresh voice that Washington needs. To others, Trump is simply a cartoon character that is known for making hyperbolic statements. In any case, one thing is for sure - Trump is a smart person with billions of dollars at this disposal. Without any clear favourites to win the Republican nomination, Donald Trump may just emerge as the dark horse candidate to win.

According to polls, Trump has the support of roughly 3-4% of Republican supporters. Many supporters, however, have never believed that Trump would actually run for the nomination. Will things change once Trump officially throws his hat into the ring on Tuesday? Will Trump garner the support of some of the conservative Republicans in the party who are disenfranchised with candidates such as Jeb Bush?

With the current state of politics in the United States, you can't count anyone out. Donald Trump's entry into the Presidential race will be interesting, to say the least.
