On Saturday, October 8th (or very early Sunday morning if you are in England), Michael "The Count" Bisping will attempt to get his revenge on Dan Henderson.

At UFC 199, Michael Bisping shocked the world by knocking out then-champion Luke Rockhold in the first round to win the Middleweight title. For Michael Bisping, beating Rockhold was the final step of a lifelong dream, and that was to be a UFC champion. Bisping had come very close to title shots in the past, though he was never able to make the final step, losing title contender eliminator fights to both Chael Sonnen and Dan Henderson. After defeating Anderson "The Spider" Silva, however, Bisping was able to get a shot at the title after Chris Weidman was forced to pull out of a planned fight against Rockhold due to an injury. Bisping made the most of Weidman's misfortune, knocking out Rockhold and winning the title.

Dan Henderson, now 46 years old, was seemingly out of the UFC following a win over Hector Lombard at UFC 199. Henderson was seemingly content to ride off into the sunset with a win, though a fight that he couldn't turn down presented itself - a rematch against Michael Bisping for the Middleweight title in Manchester, England. Sure, many people scratched their heads at this match-making, as there are a long list of people who are probably more deserving of a title shot. None of that matters to Dan Henderson, however, and he eagerly accepted the fight.

At UFC 100, Henderson KO'd Bisping in devastating fashion. The clip of the knockout has been replayed millions of times, and Bisping has vowed to gain his revenge. Can Bisping make his first successful title defense, or will Henderson get the best of "The Count" once again?

While Michael Bisping did knock out Luke Rockhold, his likeliest path to victory against Dan Henderson is to outwork and outbox his older foe. Bisping has a phenomenally deep gas tank and will not let up over the course of the five round championship fight. Bisping will also be looking to feed off of the rabid home crowd that will be present in Manchester.

Dan Henderson, on the other hand, will look to employ some dirty boxing against Bisping. Of course, the biggest fear that Bisping has is a repeat of UFC 100, which was when Henderson landed his famous "H-Bomb" on Bisping's chin. Bisping will need to do well to avoid a big shot from Henderson.
