01Overview

Jon Ossoff's disclosed assets less his disclosed debt come to about $3.0 million at the midpoints of the reported ranges, within a range of about $659,000 to $5.3 million. The figure covers him and his wife, Dr. Alisha Kramer, as his Senate report lists them, and leaves out his Atlanta home, which senators do not have to report. Nearly all of it is one asset: a qualified blind trust he set up in 2021 for the stock portfolio he owned before he became a senator, reported at $1 million to $5 million. The trust earned between $100,001 and $1 million in 2025, according to his report for that year, filed August 13, 20261.

Outside the trust, his own accounts are a Fidelity IRA, Fidelity brokerage cash and State of Israel bonds that were childhood gifts, about $148,000 at midpoints. His wife's accounts, mostly a 403(b) from her Emory Clinic job and a Roth IRA of sustainable-investing funds, add about $212,000. One debt of $250,001 to $500,000 is reported. Because he cannot see or direct the trust's holdings, its place inside its range cannot be known, which is why every estimate of his wealth is so wide.

His earlier filings show where the money came from. He used $250,000 of an inheritance from his grandfather to help fund Insight TWI, the London investigative documentary company he ran from 2013 until he entered the Senate in 20218, and as a candidate he held a stock portfolio led by Apple. He reported his stake in Insight TWI at $1 million to $5 million in 2020; the company was struck off the UK register in February 20245. He won a second term on November 3, 2026, defeating Rep. Mike Collins.

02Reconcile the Estimate

Every line on Ossoff's latest annual report, the one for calendar 2025 filed on August 13, 20261, with its owner and the midpoint of its disclosed range. Senate reports list a senator's own assets and his spouse's together; here they are labeled, so the figure can be read either way. His own holdings come to about $3.15 million at midpoints, almost all of it a qualified blind trust; his wife's accounts add about $212,000. One debt is reported. His home is not on the form, as personal residences need not be, so it is not counted.

Scenarios: Where Is the Blind Trust in Its Range?

Nearly everything depends on one number the form does not give: the trust's value inside its $1 million-$5 million range. Everything else, his and his wife's other accounts less the debt, nets to about -$15,000 at midpoints.

ScenarioBlind trustEverything else, netResult
Floor of every asset range, debt at its ceiling$1.0M-$341K$0.66M
Trust at $2 million$2.0M-$15K$2.0M
Midpoint of every range$3.0M-$15K$3.0M
Trust at $4 million$4.0M-$15K$4.0M
Ceiling of every asset range, debt at its floor$5.0M$311K$5.3M

The middle three rows keep every other line at its midpoint and change only the trust. The report gives no way to tell where in its range the trust sits.

All values come from one report, his annual report for calendar 2025, filed August 13, 2026, as compiled line by line by Senate Files from the Senate's disclosure records1 and checked against the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's account of the same filing2. Each range is taken at its midpoint; no market prices are used, because the trust's holdings are not disclosed. Whose wealth this is: Ossoff and his wife, as the Senate form reports them. His own assets alone come to about $3.15 million at midpoints; the debt's owner is not shown in the compilation. The midpoint is a calculation convention, not a judgment that it is the most likely value.

Not observable: where the blind trust sits inside its $1 million-$5 million range, which is by far the biggest question; what the trust holds; the value of the Atlanta home; the exact type and holder of the reported debt; and any inheritance or gift still to come. The Senate's own disclosure site refused our connection, so we used Senate Files' compilation of the filing rather than the filing itself.

Each pair of points is the range of assets less debts implied by one disclosure, dated by when the figures were filed or reported: his 2017 House candidate report (our sum of its ranges)4; his first Senate annual report, covering 20209; his report covering 20223; and his report covering 20251. None includes his home. These are not directly comparable: the earlier ranges were compiled by different people from forms with different contents, and the 2017 and 2020 ranges include Insight TWI. A fall in the range does not by itself show a fall in his wealth. His 2020 candidate report, at $2.3 million to $8.8 million8, is not plotted because its basis was not published.

07Why His Net Worth Is Hard to Pin Down

One Range Instead of a Portfolio

As a candidate, Ossoff listed dozens of individual holdings, from Apple and Berkshire Hathaway to Home Depot and a Fidelity S&P 500 index fund4. Since June 2021 those holdings have been in a qualified blind trust run by an independent manager, who buys and sells without telling him what the trust owns. His annual report now shows the trust as a single line, valued at $1 million to $5 million.

That is the point of a blind trust: a senator who does not know his holdings cannot trade on what he learns in office. It also means outsiders cannot value the portfolio, so every estimate of Ossoff's wealth, including ours, rests on where the trust is assumed to sit in its range. The trust's 2025 income of $100,001 to $1 million, which can include interest, dividends and realized gains, is too broad to narrow it.

The Company That Left the Forms

Insight TWI was the largest line on Ossoff's 2020 disclosure. His campaign valued his stake at $1 million to $5 million, its estimate of what the stake would fetch, while the company's last UK accounts before the election showed a negative balance sheet, which the campaign said reflected owner investment booked as debt. He left its board in February 2021, and in November 2023 the company applied to be struck off the UK register; it was dissolved on February 6, 20245. The company's records do not show whether he received any proceeds, distributions or repayments along the way, and nothing from it appears on his latest report.

Campaign Money Is Not His

Ossoff raises money on a large scale: his campaign raised about $98 million for the 2026 race through June 30, 2026, and had $42.6 million in the bank at that date6. None of it counts toward his net worth. Campaign funds belong to the committee, and federal law bars spending them on personal use.

08Frequently Asked Questions

How much is Jon Ossoff worth?

About $3.0 million in disclosed assets less disclosed debt, at the midpoints of his reported ranges, within a range of roughly $659,000 to $5.3 million. That covers him and his wife as his Senate report lists them and leaves out his home, which is not reported. Nearly all of it is a qualified blind trust reported at $1 million to $5 million.

Does Jon Ossoff trade stocks?

Not inside his blind trust: since June 2021 an independent trustee has managed it without his direction or knowledge of its holdings. Fund purchases and sales have been reported in accounts outside the trust, including the Vanguard target-date fund in his wife's 403(b). He has sponsored legislation to ban members of Congress and their spouses from trading individual stocks.

What is in Jon Ossoff's blind trust?

The public does not know, and neither, by design, does he. The trust was funded with the portfolio he held before taking office, which as a candidate included Apple, Berkshire Hathaway and Fidelity index funds. Its current holdings are not disclosed; only its value range and income range are.

How did Jon Ossoff make his money?

His filings and reporting document an inheritance from his grandfather, $250,000 of which helped fund Insight TWI, a London documentary company he ran from 2013 to 2021, and a stock portfolio led by Apple that he built before taking office. Insight TWI was dissolved in 2024.

How much does Jon Ossoff earn as a senator?

$174,000 a year, the salary of every rank-and-file senator. His report covering 2022 showed no income besides his government salary.

Is Jon Ossoff's campaign money part of his net worth?

No. His campaign had $42.6 million on hand on June 30, 2026, but campaign funds belong to the committee and cannot legally be used for personal expenses.

09Sources and Method

This is a disclosure-range estimate built from one report: his annual report for calendar 2025, filed August 13, 2026. Senators report assets and debts in value ranges, not exact amounts, and the report lists the senator's and his spouse's holdings together, each marked with its owner. We take each range at its midpoint, add the assets and subtract the debt. The qualified blind trust is reported as one range, so its midpoint, $3.0 million, carries almost the whole estimate. The low and high ends take every asset at its floor or ceiling and the debt at the opposite end.

His home is left out because a personal residence does not have to be reported; since the reported debt is counted, the figure understates him by the home's value. The Senate's disclosure website refused our connection, so the line items come from Senate Files' compilation of the filing, which agrees with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's account of it; his 2017 House candidate report was read directly. We do not deduct taxes that would be due if the trust's holdings were sold, as is standard for net worth estimates.

1 Annual report for calendar 2025, filed August 13, 2026 (after an extension filed May 15, 2026), as compiled by Senate Files. Ossoff: The Thomas Jonathan Ossoff Qualified Blind Trust of 2021, $1,000,001-$5,000,000, income $100,001-$1,000,000; FDRXX in his Fidelity IRA, $50,001-$100,000; Fidelity cash and SPAXX in his Fidelity brokerage account, $15,001-$50,000 each; State of Israel bonds, $1,001-$15,000. Spouse: VFFVX in an Emory Clinic 403(b), $50,001-$100,000; Wells Fargo, $15,001-$50,000; EUSB, ESGV, VSGX, ARGFX, ARTZX, BAFWX, HGXIX, JACDX, PRBLX, PTRSX, FGTXX, Edward Jones cash and U.S. Treasury notes, $1,001-$15,000 each; a U.S. Bank certificate of deposit, $1,000 or less. Senate Files puts the report's net worth at $659,000-$5.3 million (assets less debts, home not included); against the asset ranges above, that implies reported debt of $250,001-$500,000. The compilation does not show the debt's type or holder.

2 Atlanta Journal-Constitution, August 24, 2026, on the same report: blind trust $1 million-$5 million earning $100,001-$1 million in 2025; mutual fund cash reserves up to $100,000; State of Israel bonds $1,001-$15,000, gifts from family members when he was a child; his wife holds several exchange-traded funds, mutual funds and retirement funds.

3 Report covering 2022, as described by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, August 17, 2023: blind trust $1 million-$5 million; other assets $88,000-$321,000; liabilities $260,000-$515,000, mainly an Atlanta home; net worth $828,000-$4.8 million; no income besides his government salary.

4 House candidate report (amendment), filing ID 10014702, filed March 27, 2017, covering January 1, 2016 to March 14, 2017: 36 valued assets summing to $1.75 million-$4.08 million, including Apple stock at $250,001-$500,000 in one Fidelity account and $15,001-$50,000 in another, and Insight TWI at $250,001-$500,000; one liability, a Visa card balance of $15,001-$50,000. Net of the card, our sum is $1.70 million-$4.07 million.

5 UK Companies House, Insight TWI Limited (07776579): Ossoff appointed director August 22, 2013 and terminated February 9, 2021; listed as holding 75% or more of shares and voting rights; a second holder of more than 25% ceased April 1, 2019; last accounts for the year ended February 28, 2022; application to strike off filed November 14, 2023; dissolved February 6, 2024.

6 Federal Election Commission reports through June 30, 2026, as compiled for the 2026 Georgia Senate election: raised $97,986,263, spent $59,730,546, cash on hand $42,587,451.

7 The Federalist, May 20, 2021, from his first Senate annual report: Apple stock worth $1 million-$5 million in 2020.

8 MoneyLion via AOL, September 12, 2026: his 2020 candidate disclosure valued his company stock at $1 million-$5 million and his net worth at $2.3 million-$8.8 million; The Washington Post reported he helped fund the company with $250,000 from an inheritance.

9 Atlanta Journal-Constitution, June 9, 2021: Ossoff notified the Senate that he had created the blind trust for his liquid assets, which were spread among stocks, securities and mutual funds; his net worth was between $2 million and $7.3 million as of late 2020. Senate Files lists blind trust documents filed June 4, 2021 and June 16, 2022.
