90% of People Surveyed Believe That Federal Reserve Should Be Abolished

CNBC.com, in conjunction with their review of Ron Paul's new book "End the Fed", conducted a recent poll that asked the question - "Should the Fed be abolished?"

Of the 12,515 people who participated in the poll, approximately 90% believed that the Federal Reserve should be abolished.

5.4% said "no", while an additional 4.9% said "Not Sure".

The Fed (Federal Reserve) has come under increasing scrutiny over the past couple of years, mainly due to the fact that they elect to remain shrouded in mystery. The Fed soundly refuses to disclose where trillions of dollars of taxpayer money has gone, steadfastly standing by the position that the revealing of such facts would cause immense damage to the global economy.

Ron Paul's bill to audit the Federal Reserve (HR 1207) currently has nearly 300 co-sponsors.

Will the Fed ever be abolished? Maybe, but probably not.

However, the heat is undeniably being ratcheted up on the Fed with each passing day.
