Renaissance Technologies, which is the massive hedge fund management firm that was founded by James Simons in 1982, filed their Q1/2010 13F-HR with the SEC earlier this week.
In total, Renaissance Technologies LLC reported owning a total of 2,785 Section 13(f) securities, totaling over $25.7 billion. These two numbers are both down from Q4/2009, when the company reported that they owned a total of 3,022 Section 13(f) securities with a total value of $26,159,114,000.
