There are two “types” of workers - blue collar workers and white collar workers.
When you think of white collars, what do you think of? Dress shirts, right? White collar workers are said to be the workers that “don’t get dirty”, meaning that they stick to offices and work with computers and paper and calculators.
Blue collar workers, on the other hand, are those people who “get dirty” (electricians, plumbers, construction workers, etc).
White collar workers generally make more money than blue collar workers.
