Not Impressed with Yahoo Free Search

Is there a worse search engine out there than Yahoo?

Can a search engine that actually manually places sites into the top 3 of many major keywords actually be taken seriously? (some of our sites benefit from this)

Can you find me a search engine with more spam and sneaky redirects than Yahoo?

You want to know why Google is eating Yahoo's lunch? It's because obviously Google devotes a substantially larger amount of its resources to its free search than Yahoo does. I understand that it must be nearly impossible to eradicate all spam from a search engine, but Yahoo doesn't even seem to try.

To say that I'm not very impressed with Yahoo would be an understatement. First Overture, then Yahoo Search. The CEO of the company needs to allocate more resources to free search, and fast.
