Bernard Madoff Reportedly Gets Into Another Prison Altercation

According to various published reports (see link below), disgraced investor Bernard Madoff was nearly beaten to death last week.
Madoff, who is currently serving a life sentence in a federal prison in Butner for his raft of offenses, reportedly received "facial fractures, broken ribs and a collapsed lung".
If true, that is a near-death beat-down for practically any person. For a fragile 71-year-old man, Madoff should be thankful that he is still alive.
There is no word as of yet as to what caused the altercation.
A few months back, Bernard Madoff reportedly got into an altercation with an "older gentleman" at the prison.
The two were arguing about the "current state of the stock market" and soon got into a shoving match.
The "older gentleman" shoved Madoff. Madoff decided to shove back, sending the older man to the ground. The older man reportedly ran off, and the two soon patched up their differences.
It is not known whether this altercation had anything to do with the most recent beat-down that Madoff reportedly received.
It sounds as though Madoff isn't the most popular inmate at the Butner federal prison..
