Without Traffic, There is No Money

Whenever you start up a blog or similar site, you need to ask yourself one very important question:

How am I planning on driving traffic to this site?

Or even more importantly, how am I planning on driving TARGETED traffic to this site?

Traffic equals money. It's as simple as that.

There are plenty of ways to drive traffic. Free search engine traffic. Link exchanges. Guest writing for other blogs. Blog searches.

In order to determine how you are going to drive traffic, you need to ask yourself:

Why would someone want to visit my site?

In order to get someone to visit your site, you need to give them a reason to click. You need to provide some sort of value to your users. If you provide value to your users, then you will eventually receive a flood of traffic. This, I guarantee you. If you are lazy and just copy and paste something that you read somewhere else, you will never really receive the type of traffic that can make you rich.

In order to provide value, you need to ask yourself what exactly it is that you would want to read, and then provide that to your user. Because if a user thinks that your content or web site is valuable to them, then they will link to your site and tell their friends and check out your site daily.

When you are starting up your site, ask yourself: how am I planning on driving traffic to this site? What is my plan? What makes my site different than every other site out there in this niche?

Think outside of the box, and you will be rewarded.
